First Edition. Complete Two Volume Set. 12mo. First Edition, Setting "A" as referenced by BAL 12064, pg.479. Half bound in dark brown leather with marbled paper boards accented with gilt fillets. Spines are embellished by raised bands, gilt tooling, and titling. Leather on both spines is cracking and volumes have the front hinge and joint cracked but boards are still attached. Leather at corner tips worn, slightly at board edges as well. Toning to endpapers and light foxing throughout both volumes, though interior is remarkably clean and bright.
