Notes from Magers and Quinn:
Second edition. Small 4to, 820 pgs. Full bound textured red leather with intricate gilt detail to boards, board edges and spine, raised bands. With two fold-out facsimilies of Burn's original script, one of "Scots wha hae wi' Wallace bled," the other of a handwritten letter to Capt. Miller of Dalswinton, both show very light foxing and a few finger smudges but are in lovely condition overall. There is also a facsimilie of the title pg to the first edition, and an engraving of the author. Some light dust soil to exterior, two very small black ink lines to front cover, minor wear to leather along joints near head and tail of spine and at cornertips. Gilt is bright, binding solid, interior clean.
